Agra is the city of the Taj Mahal in the north India. Agra has three Unesco world heritage sites, the Taj Mahal, the Agra Fort in the city and something. There are also many other buildings and tombs from Agra's days of glory as the capital of the Mughal Empire.
If there’s one building in the world (at least from the ones I’ve visited) that deserves its own post with too many pictures then it’s the Taj Mahal. Even on a rather glum day like the day I visited it still completely lives up to the hype and is worth braving the crowds and occasional shower to visit. As you can see below you need to be rather patient to get that classic shot and you need to get there early before they turn on the fountains, ruining the reflection (something we timed by pure coincidence) and you can forget about taking a tripod in ;)
